Hey, I'm looking to make a wolf/werewolf deck. When I started playing magic I decided I wanted a plain old wolf deck. It was then explained to me I needed to make it a wolf/werewolf deck to make it easier on myself, and that it should be a green/red deck. So far, I own...
x2 Nyxborn Wolf
x1 Sacred Wolf
x1Overrun
x1Pyreheart Wolf (Which I want more of)
So as you can see, I don't have many cards yet. I do have a list of cards I want to add, but don't own yet:
And while these aren't wolves/werewolves, I kinda sorta want them:
So tell me, am I headed in the right direction, or am I completely wrong about this? Please give me some good constructive criticism, and please explain what werewolves are/do.

Huntmaster of the Fells Flip is a very strong card for any werewolf deck, and probably the most objectively powerful werewolf out there. You should also consider cards that provide boosts to a tribe of your choice, for example Obelisk of Urd and Door of Destinies . There are likely better options for the latter, and I recommend you do a Gatherer search.

Wolfbriar Elemental
is amazing to produce a wolf army if u have the mana ramp to make it worthwhile, im assumeing youd be playing this casualy with friends. and as PTsmitty said Immerwolf is a powerfull ally in a beast deck, I know shes not a wolf but consider Wild Beastmaster
enchantering her with Raised by Wolves
is very powerfull in casual it will make your wolves pretty hard to deal with :D a 4 set of Young Wolf
is also strongly recommended ;)

This is probably out of your budget, but I think you'll like it:
Scroll down to Optimis344's deck that went 3-1.
One of the best ways to get werewolves to flip is to lock your opponent out of playing spells. Optimis344 did that by playing Trinisphere and Blood Moon effects. Done early enough in the game, these types of prison cards can devastate your opponent.
There's probably a way you could do something similar with G/R on a budget, like werewolves with land destruction or by making your opponent discard their hand.

If you are wanting to do a Wolf/Werewolf deck then Immerwolf should be highly considered. You can check out me deck Innistrad Werewolves for some more ideas.
