Pick a legendary you like. Done.

It is commander, anything can work. Pick an interesting none-legendary if your play group says it is OK.

It really depends what you find fun, and also what everyone else runs. You want to make sure that you're picking something that can hold its own, especially if your friends are running tuned, or Tier 1 decks. Just remember, win or lose, if you're playing a commander, deck and strategy you find fun, you'll always be able to have fun.

I primarily play control, STAX, or voltron. So my go-to commanders are Damia, Sage of Stone, Azami, Lady of Scrolls, Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, and Tromokratis.

Silly decks I use include Adamaro, First to Desire, Angus Mackenzie, and Karona, False God.

People play wide ranges of styles and preferences. It's difficult to pick up someone else's favorite commander if you didn't have an inclination to it initially.

I recommend honing in on a playstyle that you enjoy and determine how competitive you want to be. Then, use this TappedOut list to narrow down your choices.

I love decks that never have the same match, I love the different possibilities of what broken fun stuff could happen, but my previous deck was grixis and the one before that was mono blie both were controly, so I kind of want a commander that is just fun I don't know how many tri - 5 colour commanders there are

You can do 5-color enchantment tribal. No one ever expects that.

Deck-building in Magic, and in commander in particular, is very much a mode of self-expression. It's hard for us to tell you what you will enjoy when we don't know you. I'm a hardcore blue player and enjoy playing controlling decks. A general like Arcanis the Omnipotent speaks to me. Meanwhile, I've got friends who love beat-face commanders and turning large creatures sideways. They love commanders like Xenagos, God of Revels.

What I'm trying to get at is that you should spend some time trying to think about what you like about Magic and how you like to play the game. Then, do some research. Google things like "Good Token Generals" or something. You'll find answers that way. When you think you've got it nailed down, create a thread here and ask us what we think about it. You might end up with something like "Do you guys think that Sakashima the Impostor would make a good clone deck commander?" At that point, we could help you out a bit more.

You want a commander that is fun AND you like control... hmmm? Just with this info is a bit difficult to make a decent suggestion you could go to with a personal favourite of mine: Sen Triplets. Another unusual commander that can be very fun to play with is Arjun, the Shifting Flame.

The most important thing about building a multiplayer commander is sometimes the other 99 cards. I have a Marath, Will of the Wild deck and while many times it is built as a combo deck with Mana Echoes and Cathars' Crusade I've actually taken out those cards for multiplayer focused cards like Hydra Omnivore, Collective Voyage, and Mana-Charged Dragon.

You can always play Oloro, Ageless Ascetic and play Esper Good Stuff, that will never stop being fun. If you want check out my Oloro deck and see if you see anything you like. :)
