I made this deck in order to combine some of the unique mixed B/R spells with the power vampires found in M13 and Innistrad. Currently debating whether the balance of spells to instants is right and if my mana curve is ok.

I know Slaughter Games is typically a sideboard card, but with Duress I aim to scout the opponents deck, and even if Slaughter Games misses, I do get the chance to look through the opponents deck and use a second Slaughter Games if I see a win condition and have the luck of the draw.

I put in the Blood Artists to help get my vampire count up (as to transform Bloodline Keeper into Lord of Lineage) and to prevent board wipes (like Overload Mizzium Mortar).

The idea behind the deck being Mono-Black was obviously to get the Vampire Nocturnus to provide its buff. While I know its dependent on the top card being black, I though perhaps incorporating a M13 Liliana would help in cycling out mana and keeping the chances of a top black card high.

Lastly I really enjoy Necropolis Regent as a finishing card, but she is quite expensive. Any thoughts as to if she is worth it?
