Standard graveyard shenanigans

Standard* Budget Casual UB (Dimir) Zombie

Sideboard

Ok an updated graveyard deck.

The idea is to put cards in the graveyard and bring creatures back from the graveyard, and win the game by always having options. Hopefully.

Stuff that comes back from the graveyard!Prized Amalgam Is obvious, we all know what this does.Eternal Scourge and Scrapheap Scrounger. The synergy here seems sweet. Exile Eternal Scourge to bring back Scrapheap Scrounger triggering any Prized Amalgam's on the way. then cast Eternal Scourge from exile. Sweet.Geralf's Masterpiece Bring it back near the end when you have few cards as a finisher. Haunted Dead because it puts 2 bodies on the field which is nice.

Getting things into the graveyardCorpse Churn is obvious, it also allows us to get something back that we don't want in the graveyard like a Torrential Gearhulk. Cryptbreaker Lets us discard a Prized Amalgam and get a zombie token for the pleasure which is always good. It also lets us draw cards, which is important as we will need cards in out hands to bring Geralf's Masterpiece and Haunted Dead back from the dead, allowing you to discard Prized Amalgam the you do bring them back.

Trying to not completely empty you hand too fastHere is the thing, its easy to discard everything to a card like Geralf's Masterpiece and then have nothing left in hand to bring back anything else, because of this we need some card draw in. Cryptbreaker lets us draw a card but its pretty slow and you have to have the zombies in play and tap them down, its better than nothing though sometimes netting you that extra card you need to bring something back. We will be putting a lot of cards in the graveyard hopefully. Would it not be nice if there were some kind of card draw spell that synergises with that? Take Inventory does just that. Imagine late game playing Torrential Gearhulk as the last card in your hand, you have all 4 Take Inventory in your graveyard. You draw your cards and bring back Geralf's Masterpiece. Power!

NotesI did have Stitchwing Skaab in the deck too as its a great card, playing too many creatures that want you to discard to bring them back though leads to you soon having no cards to do so which sucks. I kept Haunted Dead over it because it puts 2 zombies on the field, more handy for Cryptbreaker's draw ability. Don't forget that its fairly easy to discard cards, even easier to run out all together and leave yourself without options. Removal in this deck is a bit thin on the ground, sideboard options can always be bought in to suit though. I did have Diregraf Colossus in but you won't be casting too many zombies so the token gen seemed wasted, also while you want creatures in your graveyard they hopefully won't stick about too long to buff him up.Wretched Gryff is in the sideboard incase you need to emerge something out fast and gain card advantage while doing it.

Hope that sounds reasonable. If you think i have missed anything them let me know. I know there are some builds about with green too, but i am not keen on adding a third colour.
