I plan on bringing this Aggressive deck to the top of the leader boards at my local Modern FNM. Similar to many of the "Average" Mono Green Aggro decks out there, the concept of this deck is to keep hitting away at my opponent until there is nothing but a bloody pulp that once was a players.

I decided to swap out Dryad Militant for Old-Growth Dryad simply because it provides more early game pressure. Sure my opponent gets a free land out of it, however if I have the play it really doesn't effect me too much.

Collected Company simply speaks for itself to have this potential game changer. Ideally I would want to conserve the 4 mana at the end of a turn to bluff that I've run out of gas in my hand and pass the turn. During their end step, I would cast Collected Company so that when my 2 creatures come out they don't have summoning sickness for my turn.

I notice that most decks do not run Revenge of the Hunted because of drawing it in your opening hand, but that is what Mulligans are for. I have no problem running 2 of them in my deck in the event that I do end up drawing into it say on turn 2. If I played Old-Growth Dryad turn 1 and turn 2 buff him with both a Rancor AND Revenge of the Hunted, I have the potential of smacking my opponent for 11 damage. In the event I draw into it mid or late game, it has the potential to wipe the opponents board, remove a bomb that needs to be answered, or better yet force them to block your 1 creature while the rest are free to swing for lethal.

Replacing the Leatherback Baloth for the Steel Leaf Champion simply speaks for itself. Not only am I switching a 4/5 for a 5/4 and keeping 3 green devotion for Aspect of Hydra, but I don't have to worry about the opponent chump blocking it and making them think twice about using their bigger creatures to block due to the buff potential from Aspect of Hydra or Vines of Vastwood.
