Madness Inverter

The main idea behind this deck is playing Inverter of Truth in standard and not losing. It's a daunting proposition but a rewarding experience if you can get it to work. I took this deck to game day at my LGS and while I didn't manage to top 8 I did manage to win quite a few games and had a lot of fun playing it.

So, what does the deck actually do? Ideally, the deck gets out Thermo-Alchemist and then plays cards like Tormenting Voice or Cathartic Reunion to discard Fiery Temper or Alms of the Vein. Adding an extra damage to every one of your spells is a powerful effect and when you can drop two spells turn 3 and follow it up with three spells turn 4, all while replacing all the cards your using, the damage really adds up.

The way the deck really shines is when, on turn 5 or 6, you suddenly drop Inverter of Truth and go down to having 5 or 6 cards in your deck. The reason this is so impressive is not actually the fact that you just got a 6/6 flyer for 4 (although that is a nice bonus). The real amazing thing is that, provided the deck is doing what it is supposed to do, all the cards that are left for you to draw are cards that can finish off your opponents. Even without the contribution of your new eldrazi friend your opponents will still fall to the onslaught that is your burn spells.

What I'm now wondering is where can I go from here and what kind of sideboard would complement the deck? The deck is fairly cheap to build (at least it was for me) but is there any money I could invest to make it more competitive? The main issue for the sideboard is figuring out a solid strategy against decks that can gain life consistently. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
