Hi all,

this deck was originaly a standard deck with the theros block. At that time the deck was a budget deck which offered a hell of a time to my opponents I played against. The meta was mono-black/gruul mid-range/red aggro.

After having a Magic break, I would like to play my deck again but of course if I can't play it in standard anymore. Now having a store 5 mins from my door where they play modern & commander, I want to put my focus to that. But I don't have any feeling with modern, so I hope with a few updates I can play the deck again in a competitive way.

If you think it is not possible as an experienced modern player, please let me know and of course why.

How does it works?

Very simple, (don't even know if anyone is going to read this) put a land, put a creature, target the creature. It will make the creature bigger. Because of the instants in this deck, you can easily wait till combat damage step.You can swap AND target creatures with Bioshift or giving protection with Gods Willing AND target them to block other creatures. Remember, this can give that Fabled Hero that you just putted in the game earlier, all the counters of a creature that is already there for a while.Fabled Hero and a lot of counters even Whipped big creatures their asses off.

What I experienced when playing this deck is trying to keep the creatures alive, if they whipe the board, you most of the time lose... Game over.
