Combination of my original deck Bolas Citadel Combo and All_Father's WAR Standard - Abzan Bolas's Citadel.

I was having two major issues with my original build of Citadel combo - Dying from creatures on board or from disruption. In other formats, combo decks win fast enough that they don't have to do much with the board, but having a deck that doesn't win until at least turn five really hurts. Also not being able to play a lot of disruption hurts, as counter spells are almost un-playable in the list and a six mana artifact is pretty easy to remove.

Combining the shell of explore creatures to give us early blockers and life gain with the consistency of Doom Whisperer always for us to have a consistent, redundant, deck. This deck can still easily kill on turn five, just in a different way.

The game plan is to play early explore creatures into a turn four/turn five doom whisperer and filter the top of our deck to find a citadel.

Wildgrowth Walker is an excellent creature that gains life with each explore creature to give you a buffer against aggro, and he becomes important if you want to combo off later in the game.

Jadelight Ranger , Merfolk Branchwalker , and Seekers' Squire all filter the top of our library, draw extra cards, trigger wildgrowth walker, and give us board presence until we go for the kill.

Doom Whisperer filters the top of our library so that we are always able to play something with citadel.

Bolas's Citadel you can play it as a combo engine to play most if not all of your deck in one turn, but it can also just be used as a value engine. It is the same as having an additional hand on top of your library, you can cast spells normally and play lands the same as you would out of your hand, which is why this card is great.

Bond of Flourishing does two things for us. First, it digs three cards in and helps us find any permanent (So a land, creature, citadel or a planeswalker) and it also nets one life when played from a citadel.

Wildgrowth Walker and any of the explore creatures - Life gain in the early game, and they will net you between 1-4 life per when played off of a Bolas's Citadel

Verdant Sun's Avatar - A card added by All_Father. A large, dumb dinosaur that doesn't look good at first glance, but playing it off of citadel only costs two life, and it keeps giving you extra life per creature.

Gift of Paradise - Net 0 life off a citadel that also ramps us in the early game.

Play creatures off of the top and play a Samut to give your creatures haste, and smack. There is always other options that are sweet but harder to cast like Garna, the Bloodflame and Heroic Reinforcements that do similar things. Once you assemble a turn four/turn five Doom Whisperer into a turn five/six Bolas's Citadel and at least 10-14 life, you can use the Doom Whisperer to filter into your explore creatures, and if you have one or two walkers out, you are almost guaranteed a win.

I will always be open to considering cards if they give the deck a competitive advantage.
