While goblins really aren't that good in modern this is still a really enjoyable deck to play around with even if your modern play group has higher tier decks as it can consistently kill on turn 4 . As usual goblins is great against control and post board with goblin assault this becomes even more apparent. Aggro on Aggro it doesn't do to badly and mostly you just get into top decking battles. Combo is hit and miss and it probably the decks worst match up. The sideboard is mainly meant to solve this problem as best as mono-red goblins can. Using combust for Twin, pillar and smash for Pod, and blood moon for pretty much everything.
