Be nice and give your opponent lots of cards (It's a trap!).

There are two avenues to victory. Firstly fill your opponent's hand with cards thanks to Howling Mine, Jace Beleren, Nin, Vision Skeins and Forced Fruition, then punish them with Cerebral Vortex and Runeflare Trap. If this doesn't work (vs life gain etc) then couple the copious drawing with the added mill effects from Hedron Crab and Archive Trap to stall them out. Jace's Phantasm complements both strategies.

Trapmaker's Snare doubles as additional copies of Runeflare or Archive Traps. Can also be used to fetch the singleton Traps if their requirements are met.

White is splashed purely for the power of Path to Exile. Path is incredibly fun in this deck, not only for it's efficient removal effect, but also for triggering Archive Trap AND Lavaball Trap if the land search is used (as well as effectively milling another card).

The main weakness is aggro weenie decks that can empty their hand quickly and against which Path is ineffective.
