+1 my guy!

I really like ghired. A 5 mana 10/10 is a lot of fun in commander! There are a few populate tricks you could lean in to if you like the Mimic Vat effects like: Feldon of the Third Path, Seance, Stone Idol Trap, Zektar Shrine Expedition, Angelic Favor... were my favorites.

I would try to lower the curve and play some more ramp. The more you consistently play ghired, the happier you'll be.

Cuts..?

-1Song of the Worldsoul... slow

-1Courage in Crisis... proliferate wut

-1Cryptolith Rite... ramp is better... or play Druids' Repository

-1Colossal Majesty... slow... < Life's Legacy/Return of the Wildspeaker

-1Beastmaster Ascension... slow

-1Tendershoot Dryad... great card, but it has little synergy when you already make so many other tokens

Cheers!

I always find that my Thantis, the Warweaver deck ran into issue of not being able to play defense and my creature getting killed in combat so I did a few things to fix that. I like all the walls as a way to keep you from attacking but when you do have to attack there are a few cards that help you survive. Akroma's Memorial is amazing. Bow of Nylea usually means they don't get blocked by the bigger creatures. Dolmen Gate and Stonehoof Chieftain make them survive combat anyway. Sight of the Scalelords may also work to make your creatures stay back on defense.

As for fun cards to add, I really enjoy my Assault Suit in this deck and Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire is great removal and a fun political card.

I know you want to get attacked so you can play "traps" to stay on flavor so Nemesis Trap , Slingbow Trap , and Stone Idol Trap seem to fit. You may also think about Baloth Cage Trap , Cobra Trap and Needlebite Trap .

As an additional comment I will mention that if you need to stop getting attacked No Mercy and Dread keep people away.

An important interaction here is that if you have both Marchesa, the Black Rose AND Inalla, Archmage Ritualist, if a wizard with a +1/+1 counter that dies during combat, Marchesa will bring it bring it back at the end step of the turn it died, triggering Inalla to make a copy that will stick around during the entirety of the next turn, being exiled during that turns end step.

Also, if a card wants to trigger on a specific turn's end step, it will specify, such as Oracle en-Vec. It can also specify a specific player's end step, such as Stone Idol Trap.

It's worth noting that for cards like Blasphemous Act, Curtains' Call, Primeval Protector, or Stone Idol Trap it doesnt matter how much mana you paid for it, it's cmc is still whatever is in the top right corner of the card. For that reason I really want to build an affinity grixis deck so i can run vial smasher with Blinkmoth Infusion
