Sideboard

The main reason behind this deck is to take the game from an opponent before they can realize what hit them. It's fast, efficient, and a perfect game has excess mana open with which to counter enemy spells and can end the game on your opponent's fifth draw step.

While the theory of the deck is plausible, each strategy consists of 3 specific cards that have to be used in a certain way in order to be effective. The most vulnerable turn will be the turn you play Elite Arcanist, but you should also have mana open that's able to play either a Swan Song or Triton Tactics in order to save it. If it's too much of a risk, then don't fall into their trap, just wait until they've tapped all their mana or until you're sure that you can out counter or maneuver them.

Phenax, God of Deception is the main driving force of the deck, allowing two devastating Mill strategies to go off.

Elite Arcanist + Triton Tactics + Elvish Mystic is the core engine of the deck, allowing for the deck to skyrocket the toughness of their creatures. It's fast, effective, and when done right, your opponent won't realize how much trouble they're in until it's too late.

Predator's Rapport works in the same way as Phenax, God of Deception and will make your life total untouchable when combined with the Elite Arcanist combo.

Traumatize + Consuming Aberration + Phenax, God of Deception works best with Prophet of Kruphix since you can flash in Consuming Aberration during the end step of your opponent's turn after casting Traumatize for the win.

Diabolic Tutor is important to fix the missing components of combos. When Sideboarding in Thoughtseize or AEtherize Read the Bones can help to be a more effective fix..

AEtherize is extremely important as a sideboard since it takes care of both hexproof enchantment decks and screws token production.

Ideal 4-turn win condition:

Turn 1: Elvish Mystic

Turn 2: Second Elvish Mystic or Sylvan Caryatid

Turn 3: Elite Arcanist with Triton Tactics exiled

Turn 4: Drop Phenax, God of Deception and then proceed to infinite with Elite Arcanist in order to mill out the opponent. Opponent loses during their 5th turn draw phase.

(Turns 2 and 3 have open mana for Swan Song or Thoughtseize)
