So the basic idea here is to get creatures, get counters on those creatures and then get some more counters. (Possibly a few more counters for good measure). Then beat down with your army of buffed creatures. Pretty simple.

Reducing Black — Jan. 23, 2014

Edit

Taken out Desecration Demon, Thoughtseize, Hero's Downfall and Erebos, God of the Dead.

Now only splashing black for multi-coloured cards like Lotleth Troll and Abrupt Decay, I feel that the overgrown tombs, Golgari Guildgate and Sylvan Caryatid will be enough to splash the fewer number of cards with black mana costs.
