The idea behind this deck is instants and sorceries. Every creature then has a direct way of interacting with those spells.

Nivmagus Elemental is for the aggressive strategy, combined with cipher it is possible to have it grow at least +2/2 every turn.

Guttersnipe deals extra damage from spells.

Charmbreaker Devils is late game card advantage/heavy beater

Talrand, Sky Summoner creates an army when you play spells.

Wild Defiance has great synergy with Nivmagus Elemental as you can target it with a burn spell, then exile the burn spell for a total of +5/5 until end of turn.

Hands of Binding is just silly in this deck, constantly being able to replay a sorcery which then triggers multiple other abilities is too good to miss.
