When you feel like playing blue black control but only have enough $$ for one Scarab God. :'(

Cryptic Serpents aren't Scarab God by any means, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper. And Noxious Gearhulk will never live up to Torrential, but at least I can pay rent AND eat after I get a playset.

Final Reward are supposed to be Vraska's Contempt, we don't have the money for Disallows, and if you don't have the Fatal Pushes then Walk the Planks could work but not nearly as good.

One of the real breadwinners of the deck is Riddleform. There are enough cheap spells to keep it as a body long enough to do its work.

Gonti, Lord of Luxury fills the spot for Hostage Taker (Not even close to the card value Hostage Taker makes though). It seems like a good fit in the deck as a 2 of.
