Your main issue is actually going to be getting through without drawing too many times.

@fluffybunnypants: Didn't draw a single game today and played three games in several rounds. Don't forget this deck can just straight-up burn people to death, which is what happened most of the time.

@sylvannos It'll happen, hell, you may even require a blood transfusion after the mirror.

Remand is strictly a tempo card, it's a time walk, not an answer. When I played U/W/R I found that my 4th Mana Leak was infinitely worse than my third. I actually wound up playing a Logic Knot out of the side and found it much more useful. I recommend some Meddling Mage s out of the side as well.

@fluffybunnypants: I completely forgot about Logic Knot . I like that idea. I think I'll run 3 Mana Leak and 1 Logic Knot mainboard.

I'm only running 2 Remand for the specific reason you mentioned: it's only a tempo play. I ran four last week and found myself siding them out in a lot of games. After playtesting a bit more this past week, I decided 2 is probably the right number.

I don't know if I'll be able to fit Meddling Mage in my sideboard. I think I'd play additional copies of Counterflux and Wrath of God . The shop has a few copies in stock, so I think I'll just buy them to have just in case I change my mind.

I see a lot of Jund, Pod and 4 Color Gifts in my meta. Meddling Mage was basically my only playable answer to Thrun, the Last Troll .

My meta is mostly Zoo, Affinity, Goblins (multiple people play Goblins...it's weird), Tron, Splinter Twin , and Kiki Control. We have about two people that play B/G/x, and they don't always show up. That's why I'm leaning towards Wrath of God . It hits more targets.

Speaking of, that Supreme Verdict should probably be Wrath of God ....

You should definitely be running more board wipes, because 3 path to exile and hitting some creatures for 3 wont be enough sometimes.in my american control Control American I run 4.

@PolyKing: I'm thinking you're right. Two Wrath of God and a Supreme Verdict might be in order. I might cut Restoration Angel out of the deck completely once I get two more Celestial Colonnade . I have two weeks before the next Modern tournament at my shop, so that should give me plenty of time to playtest.

25 lands sounds incredibly intensive, especially with Celestial Colonnade. You could probably switch the 3rd Tectonic Edge into a coloured source, because you run 4 lands which don't produce colour, or fetch. I'd only play 3 maximum.

I'd recommend switching the Wrath of God in the sideboard with the mainboarded Supreme Verdict. Wrath is easier to cast in general, and can lead to your opponent sideboarding incorrectly to counter it when you switch it for Supreme Verdict.

@JexInfinite: I've been wanting to add in more copies of Flooded Strand. I just don't own them yet. When I do, I think I'll swap out a Steam Vents and maybe Grim Lavamancer for them. The three Tectonic Edge are there for Affinity and Zoo, two decks that are prevalent in my area. Those matches can be difficult if they get an Inkmoth Nexus or Raging Ravine out.

The Supreme Verdict was a recent change to deal with Delver. Normally, I'm playing Wrath of God. But lately, there's been enough decks running around in my meta with creatures backed up by countermagic.

Raging Ravine is more of a Jund card than Zoo, but it definitely can work in Big Zoo. That's more of a local meta call, which is justifiable.

Against small creature decks, Anger of the Gods is amazing. Because of it's 3 CMC, you can back it up with counter magic much easier than you can with Wraths.

Yah I have one Anger of the Gods main and one in the side.

Add a 4th lightning helix, it's a good ground card against delver.

Dig Through Time is stupidly good. Most list go down on Cryptic's for them, 2/2 or 1/3 split.

Most people cast away Sphinx's Revelation for dig through time actually, I'd cut 1 shinx, 1x commnad for two Dig Through Time
