Maybeboard

My idea for a budget mono-white Golem deck.

As may be expected, the deck is focused around creating a Golem assembly line with Conversion Chamber, Golem Foundry, and Titan Forge, and overwhelming your opponent with tokens. For extra fun, turbocharge it with Coretapper and Surge Node. You can even recharge Surge Node with Coretapper if you find yourself on a quiet turn.

Conversion Chamber and a single Coretapper means you can spit out a 3/3 Golem every turn for 2 mana, without even needing to exile cards from graveyards, and a Titan Forge and all three Coretappers means a 9/9 every turn for the affordable price of free. Voltaic Key can be used to untap some stuff for a second round if you've got the mana.

The Splicers are in to do their thing and simultaneously buff and create more Golems. When combined with the Conjurer's Closet, you can spit out an extra free 3/3 at the end of every turn.

Tempered Steel is, of course, great in Artifact Decks, and turns your tokens into 5/5s and 11/11s (!) with just one.

Spear of Heliod may seem odd, but it further improves your tokens, makes your Splicers a little less likely to immediately die, and acts as the only spot removal in the deck. Handy if you're facing down some type of Evasion-based deck like Flying that you couldn't otherwise deal with, or are facing down creatures with 'tap to damage' abilities that are picking you apart. Use a Voltaic Key to do it multiple times, if you have the mana.

Chronomaton is an alright 1-drop that can self-buff to stay relevant as the game progresses, and gets all the buffs from your Splicers and Tempered Steel.

Rusted Relic should be trivial to activate, and after that turns into a decent creature. With even one Tempered Steel down it's a 7/7 for 4 mana, and that's not even looking at the possible First Strike or Vigilance from the Splicers.

Lodestone Golem makes life more miserable for your opponents. It does affect your Splicers, but it also makes Counterspells and Burn slightly less threatening, takes the edge off aggro, and can gloriously throw off a combo.

Mind Stone can help you get out some of the pricier artifacts in the deck earlier, and once it's no longer useful can draw you a card to replace itself.

As for special lands: Tomb of the Spirit Dragon is the champion here. With all the tokens you should be creating, all of which are colorless, you should be able to gain disgusting amounts of life every turn.

Dread Statuary is a bit expensive, but can be worth it with an established board presence. With just a single Tempered Steel and a Blade Splicer down, you're getting a 6/4 First Strike for 4 mana.Amusingly, if you have a Sensor Splicer down when it attacks, you can tap it for mana in the second main phase/on your opponent's turn even if you attack with it.

As for the maybeboard, Unwinding Clock and some artifact lands looks like it could be nuts in this deck, but has the side-effect of rendering the Sensor Splicer effectively redundant. Hmm. Thoughts?
