Here is a hard-control deck to destroy your opponents ways of life with their puny strategies
Enter the never-ending counter storm
Essence Scatter and Fatal Push are here to avoid board early pressure. I chose to put only 2 Fatal Push because of his revolt ability that will not trigger easily due to the lack of creatures in the deck.
Disallow is, i think one of the best counter in standard right now.
Glimmer of Genius , Hieroglyphic Illumination , Pull from Tomorrow are here to maximise the land drop and facilitate the drawing of one or more Torrential Gearhulk which can easily hit the battlefield turn 6 and auto-win by themselves.
Never / Return x 2 just in case a planeswalker or another menace slipped through the counters.
Torment of Hailfire x 2 For ending the game which can be very long depending on your opponent's deck .
Commit / Memory can be used to refill your library ( and incidentally your opponent's ) if you had previously used Torment of Hailfire too soon. Additionally Commit can tempo one turn.
UPDATE 07-26-2017 : I added 2 x The Scarab God as a side-wincon, considering to switch it with Torment of Hailfire as the later is always a dead draw if your opponent plays red deck win or another burn type of deck. Against another control or midrange deck it is still a terrific finisher.
