Been awhile since I did stuff in Standard, but I've been experimenting with somethings here and there and came up with some interesting ideas.

So here's the game plan of this deck: its namesake card, Simic Ascendancy, exists here for one primary purpose: to give our opponent another clock against our ever increasing in size creatures. Those being Ajani's Pridemate through life gain shenanigans, and Setessan Champion through our enchantment play. With the Champion or Eutropia out, the Asendancy hits the field with a counter on it thanks to their constellation abilities.
