Sideboard

Mono green aggro taking advantage of very strong 3-drops on turn 2 to get ahead early and then keep the pressure on with powerful 4-drops. Lots of plainswalkers in this to give us a good chance against control decks, along with Old-Growth Troll pairing great against spot removal and Genesis Hydra and/or Mistcutter Hydra being amazing against counterspells. For being mono green, this deck is able to put out diverse threats that can also answer problems at times too. The only awkward spots are when you have good 3-drops and no early elves to play or you have the elves but don’t have any 3-4 mana payoffs. It’s gonna happen, but can usually get past it with sheer power of individual cards in the deck. I’m usually on a mulligan to 6 with this build fairly often, but I’m just proactively looking for a good opener with lands, elves, and a solid 3-drop spell to start early pressure. If you have a start like that, it’s hard to beat.
