Sacrifice Persist creatures to Bloodflow Connoisseur for unlimited +1/+1 counters on it.
Sacrifice Persist creatures to Viscera Seer to Scry through the deck at any time as far as your want.
Sacrifice Persist creatures to Blasting Station to deal damage to creatures and players. Blasting Station untaps when the Persist creature comes back into play. Repeat.
Grim Backwoods is another way to sacrifice Persist creatures for their effects and draw a card when there's mana to spend.
Each time Murdurous Redcap enters the battlefield, you can deal 2 damage to target creature or player. Sacrifice to Blasting Station to deal 1 damage, and when Murdurous Redcap re-enters the battlefield, deal 2 more. Repeat.
