Caleb D has been messing with it. I think you have to assess if modern needs a hard counter and if it sets you back too much to be worth

I'd come to the same conclusion recently after saying I'd get a box -- the money I could spend on it could be better served getting exactly what I need from it.
I really hope Hierarch isn't mythic... But that's a cold, lonely hope.

Clique honestly deserves mythic on a limited standpoint. Hierarch is close but i don't think it makes the cut.

That was just because when Clique was first printed, the mythic rarity did not exist.

Holy wow... so many pages.. Just woke up.. Hate it when my father cranks the heat up to 120..
JexInfinite - A 1000$ version of Little Kid junk, I know his buddy is playing Mono blue control of some kind, a bunch of standard decks modified to be able to play... I know there is a tron deck floating around.. and the delver disappeared.
Femme_Fatale... Um.. Draw two and Abrupt Decay for 3? o.o Insanity... Abrupt Decay is already bad enough.. they print that thing, my bears will have just become unplayable. 
control already stomps it.

Anyways, you can never go wrong with 4 color unless, you know, Blood Moon. Then it's just not fun. What's the list you're wanting to run, Scorprix?

can I live in magic christmas land for Atarka's Command for a moment (specifically to rug delver)
3 lands open, none of them blue, pass turn. opponent thinks you've got no counterspells, plays something like an important combo piece.Atarka's Command, bolt them and put an island into play. Mana Leak. make your opponent cry.
seriously though I know very little about the deck so I can't offer much advice for it.

I'm not saying use it to play a land, I'm just talking about pushing through some damage and maybe blocking some lingering souls tokens with your goyf.

Well 2 cmc scry 2 with 2 to the dome still isnt viable... :(
Prob is there is nothing to draw me more burn cards.. and Im sure everyone would be opposed to it drawing more..

I know, playing the card for the land ability is silly. I just thought of that happening and how tilted I would get if it was against me and had to share.
I would assume a burn that buffs your team is useful in a deck that wants to get out some creatures (I'll assume the list runs delve, goyf, maybe young pyromancer?) and wants to kill relatively quickly. being able to get blocks on lingering souls is awesome too (pyromancer tokens get beneficial blocks on the tokens? awesome).
and occasionally the "can't gain life" may be relevant. rarely, and again, not why you would play the card.

The only time I would want to play the land ability.. is turn 2 with a lightning bolt to cast with it.. maybe a swiftspear..

Im having troubles with my burn against my hatebears. :( If it cant handle a tier 2.5 deck, hows it to deal with a tier 1?
Maybe I cant get away with so many Pillar of Flame..

Burn should run Anger of the Gods in the side if you are having creature troubles. Pyroclasm, Slagstorm and Volcanic Fallout are all alternative options.

No, That seems horrible.
Decks have bad matchups, the chances you play hatebears at some modern tourney is very small.
As for Command in Delver it seems fine, Specifically against Abzan it makes your Delvers not die to a Lingering Souls and your goyfs eat your opponents goyfs.

Buying back Tarmogoyf with Ojutai's Command is just disgusting. As soon as this catches on, at least at my shop, 
might lose out to 
. I mean yeah, red has bolts but white has all the time in the world to not give a damn about it's life total and path.
Stupid twin has them both..and 4 snaps...sigh.
So I want to make a deck that uses Summoning Trap against Twin. So first I need to know, what are some creatures that Twin would actually stop to counter versus just Remand? I was thinking a T1 Pithing Needle followed by T2 Phyrexian Revoker with several Eldrazi in the deck for a suprise Summoning Trap into Emrakul, the Aeons Torn since he can't be hit with Path to Exile and if he comes out on my turn 2 they are screwed.
Also I'm considering running 4x Archive Trap in the sidebaord because screw their fetches!

Remand does counter the spell and will work with Trap.
Without mill being a primary wincon I wouldn't bother.

Isnt a tourney thing... I wouldnt run those for tourney... like I could ever travel to get to one..
I cant even go to vegas for MMA2015... and I live in the same state.. :'(

so here's my thinking for the mythics in mm15
white - Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite
blue - clique (obviously)
black - Phyrexian Obliterator
red - Warren Instigator?? (not sure if there is any other red mythics that need reprinting. kiki was printed in the first mm)
green - ghoyf (obviously)
I'm thinking that they might reprint a differant white mythic then elesh norn and then reprint all the praetors like they did with the dragons in the first mm.
Also I do not think buying a box of mm15 is woth it for any reason. the only way you make your money back is if you get ghoyf OR a clique and some foil stuff other wise you are probably not making your money back let alone getting a profit.
