Resurrect whole graveyard with Wake the Dead

Wake the Dead would be a good inclusion in my Sidisi self-mill reanimator decklist, and I would like a combo or two - preferably with budget pieces - to recur everything in my graveyard as cheap as possible for a total blowout.
I'm thinking something along the lines of Wake the Dead with X=2, fetch Eternal Witness / Archaeomancer (to fetch Wake back) and Priest of Gix, sac both to Ashnod's Altar and cast Wake again for X = 5. Fetch the same pieces and whatever else I would like as my blockers, or nice ETB-effects. Combine with Blood Artist to kill everybody, Man-o'-War to bounce everything, Deranged Hermit for infinite squirrels, Mulldrifter to draw cards, Yavimaya Elder for ramp, Rune-Scarred Demon for tutoring, etc.
Is this a viable combo? Does it work the way I think it will? Any other suggestions for abusing Wake the Dead?

It looks like Wake the Dead can only be used for blocking. They will die at the end of the opponent's turn to sacrifice. So even if you abuse it, its uses are still pretty narrow and not for winning.

I guess ETB effect could be pretty good, you need ways to flash everything in of course. You could combine this with stuff like Living End and Living Death.

ThisIsBullshit: With a lot of mill and recursion there's several ways to find the combo pieces: Draw or recur Eternal Witness or Archaeomancer, draw or recur Wake the Dead. Glissa, the Traitor or Eternal Witness will help finding Ashnod's Altar. Not the most consistent of combos, no, but several ways of finding the combo pieces. I think it will be an occational scenario and a fun political threat: "If you attack me, I will kill you all"
zyphermage: I don't think someone actually has to attack. Even though a player doesn't declare attackers, there is a combat phase. Untap, upkeep, draw, main 1, combat (declare attackers, blockers, deal damage), main 2, end (roughly). If you generate 100 tokens on the player to your left's turn you can either attack next turn or sac them all to deal damage with something like Blood Artist, combo Mikaeus, the Unhallowed with Triskelion, etc...

I believe VampireArmy is thinking of Cauldron of Souls

Yeah I knew that there was a phase cause of things like Carpet of Flowers, I just said blockers cause that was mosy of what I saw it useful for.

Wake the Dead + Phyrexian Altar + Eternal Witness + Mitotic Slime/Symbiotic Wurm/Hornet Queen/Deranged Hermit can give you infinite tokens and mana. You just need Eternal Witness and the other creature to start in the graveyard and have Phyrexian Altar on the battlefield before you cast Wake the Dead.
Victimize could also be used instead of Wake the Dead for the combo. It would mean needing another creature on the battlefield and could only be done at sorcery speed, but it also gives you that infinite mana to spend during your main phase.

Seems like a pretty solid turn 3 Buried Alive turn four win.

I'd just get Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion.

It'll work the way you want it to. It seems a little janky to me, it requires a lot of pieces and mana, so idk.
But if it works for you, go for it.
