Combining two of my favorite archetypes into one, this tribal Flash deck is designed to keep your opponents guessing whether you're here to play aggro or control. With cheap creatures that offer instant-speed abilities, flash creatures at the top of the curve, and a bevy of countermagic, you'll always be one step ahead of people playing Magic by the rules.

THE WIZ KIDS

Siren Stormtamer : Nice evasive wizard for pinging damage throughout the game, and helps protect the bigger guys from removal. Enables turn-2 Retorts as well.

Senate Guildmage : This Wizard-Bear has two solid abilities for 1 mana each, making him a nice way to dump unused mana on the opponent's end step.

Merfolk Trickster : Cheap Flash-Wizard-Bear that's good for slowing down aggro. Despite this being a 3-color deck, the vast majority of lands produce blue, so his cost isn't an issue.

Deputy of Detention : A D-Sphere in Wizard form. Stormtamers & counterspells help him keep threats off the table.

Frilled Mystic : Hard counter in creature form. Just the threat of it is what makes this deck hard to play against.

Naru Meha, Master Wizard : Anthem pump for the wiz-kids, at Flash speed of course. Probably not gonna get a ton of utility out of the copying effect but who cares.

THE SUPPORT

Incubation Druid : Perfect mana dork for a Flash deck, as it has a lot of late-game utility due to its instant-speed buff.

Growth-Chamber Guardian : Similar to Incubation Druid in that its a 2-drop that can get bigger at instant speed, except this guy brings his buddies to the party too.

INSTANT WIZARDRY

Seal Away : Cheap way to deal with almost any creature at - say it with me now - INSTANT SPEED.

Wizard's Retort : And you thought they would never reprint Counterspell .

Settle the Wreckage : A blowout against aggro, and a reliable way to take out any big threat coming your way.

Teferi, Hero of Dominaria : This sadsack actually has to come down at sorcery speed, but he makes up for it by drawing into more instant-speed options & untapping enough lands for a Retort.
