Good cuts include Elvish Skysweeper, unless you have plenty of fliers in your meta. Disowned Ancestor: fine early game, and it would be hella good if outlast wasn't a sorcery, but alas. Graveblade Marauder is okay but it's generally lackluster (relies on your dudes dying). Herald of Dromoka and Dragonscale General cancel each other out. Petrified Wood-Kin is risky and Matsu-Tribe Sniper is just sorta lame. Spirit Loop really doesn't fit the theme of the deck.

Sorry I have to be salty here, just wanted to suggest some cuts. Also maybe drop the banners for signets (eg Boros Signet).

With regards to the skysweeper and the sniper - my meta is actually pretty loaded with fliers - and it's something my deck can't very well deal with... So whatever little I can do to tip those aerial scales :)

I agree with you on the ancestor. Late game he is kind of a dud. But, I do like to have 1-drops - and withing m tribe - he is definitely one of the picks with most vaule.

I get you with the marauder - but my guys do die pretty easily, so there's almost always 4 or 5 dudes in the yard - and that adds up. plus with an ass of 4 he survives a bolt to the face. also - love me some deathtouch.

I just wanna say - I'm not trying to disprove you or anything like that - now you just got me pondering ;) and I do like to play the devil's advocate on these sorts of things.

I know that the herald and the general cancel each other out - but it's a fairly slim risk to run. the chance of getting them both out at the same time is quite small. and by themselves they both offer substantial boons.

Heh, the Wood-lin... yeah... he should have been out of the deck some time ago - much too unreliable - but! He is one of the original cards that made me wanna do a warrior-deck in the first place- and so, he get's an honourary spot :P

ypu're right about spirit loop. it's very off-flavour. it is, however, VERY on continuous lifegain :P

I follow your logic on the signet vs banner business: it makes for quicker ramp. but considering that I'm in four colours, it's my personal preference to use banners since they cover more colours.

Sorry to ask you for advice only to "shoot it down" :p I'm really thankful - and you can be sure that I'll head your words when I do revisions. this morning I had to take something out - and I actually ended up considering the Sniper for a good while before settling on something else x)

You need some cards that can give you, in one turn, enough traction for an alpha strike. Ankle Shanker is a particularly scary example. Driven / Despair, Dominaria's Judgment, Overwhelming Stampede, Ready / Willing, Rush of Battle for that aforementioned life gain, Samite Elder targeting Saskia, Spare from Evil assuming there's no human tribal in the meta, Vault of the Archangel, Overrun, are all super good group buffs.

Driven to Despair could actually be really cool - more drawpower and evasion in one spell could have a huge impact!

I actually have an Overwhelming stampede laying about - I'll have to try it out :)

Ready and Willing actually used to be in here - but I rarely ended up feeling like I got enough out of it... You reccommending it might have me give it a second chance :)

Rush of battle is also an old resident of the deck. While it is absolutely on flavour-point - it got cut in favor ofthe spirit loop because of the reusability of the loop.

the samite elder would be amazing - was it a warrior :P

There is acyually a great love for humans in my meta, but I could still see myself using spare from evil.

Vault of the Archangel is definitely a BOMB - I need one :D!

Overrun is a classic - no doubt about it :) If I find the room for it - I should like to use it.

Is there no room for Hero of Bladehold?

Warrior tribal bud. Flavor over functionality, in this instance. Hero of Bladehold is nice, but it's more fun to just stay in flavor.

I plan to build a warrior deck too, but it'll be Naya. One card I'll be adding is Masako the Humorless. Allows you to be aggressive yet still have blockers.

Mirror Entity is a very strong warrior :)

Yasova Dragonclaw is also good for getting pesky blockers out of the way or just adding to the face smashing

Vengeful Firebrand (maybe maybe not), Obsidian Battle-Axe (definitely), Cathars' Crusade (oh boy), and Path of Ancestry (definitely) are the only other things I could think of that you could benefit from, maybe there are other cards with ferocious or formiddible that you could run in these colors. Otherwise I think you got'em all.

Dorotheus: thanks for the attention, dude :) The Firebrand would be pretty cool, though I I'm, always, hardpressed at what to cut. The battle-axe is glorious, and I honestly don't know why it ain't in there, since I have some laying about. cathar's crusade would be rightly SWEET!. Whilst the Path seems deceptively well fitting, note the my commander isn't actually a warrior.... so no scrying for me :( believe you me, I'm pissed about RnD's blunder at her typing XO

Path of Ancestry is basically another command tower and you have 19 humans so you at least get that. My one deck has 2 generals and Path, and only like 5 creatures in the deck get any of their combined 4 typings matched. You could always play Conspiracy to spite Wotc hahaha
