I have a lot of budget decks lying around here, but there aren't that many of them that are just pick-up-and-play for people learning the game. So I decided to make a deck series that filled that gap, with common effects and basic strategies that still provide enough depth to be interesting.

This one's a combo deck. I avoided infinite loops, since they tend to be unintuitive, and focused on trigger chains. Here, playing lands leads to gaining life from Jaddi Offshoot and Eumidian Terrabotanist. This life gain then triggers other beneficial effects like opponent's life loss and pumping creatures.

If you use this deck as a teaching tool, focus on triggered abilities and how they interact. Timing rules and sequencing are important here.
