I love humans. I love FF8. I love Squall. So here's a shell to jam Squall into. A 3/4 who grants exalted creatures Double Strike and revives monsters from the GY when it gets a hit in seems borderline playable, and while it's not probably the best 4 mana option it's not the worst either, and I wanted to see if I could play with Squall. If Lionheart was more playable maybe I'd run an equipment package, but it's trash so womp womp. Ultimately cut Rinoa. According to the competitive meter, cutting Rinoa made the deck 3% LESS competitive lawl.

4c despite easily slotting in red cards because there are no red hate bears that are worthwhile, since Blood Moon effects hose us.

Squall should probably be Huntmaster of the Fells   if you want a more "Optimal" 5c Humans deck. You could also consider Yawgmoth, Thran Physician for the 4 drop slot. Protection from humans is extremely relevant and it gives you a source of removal and card advantage.
