Citizens, please remain calm. Rumours and misinformation only spread fear and panic amongst the populace. I,
Dovin, Grand Arbiter
, and the Azorious Senate will ensure the peace, safety and most importantly, order of the city of Ravnica. You have nothing to fear.
Welcome to Ravnica, don't mind the sphinxes flying above, they're just watching ... always ... Let's talk about some cards shall we! The main goal of the deck is to beat down with cheap early flyers, pumped by
Favorable Winds
with the addition of some sphinxes for more late game threats.
Healer's Hawk
+
Siren Stormtamer
: Our one drops are very important, the hawk gives us some crucial early life gain, while the siren is the best at protecting out creatures and ourselves from enemy spells and abilities.
Chart a Course
+
Curious Obsession
: Great at churning through our deck to find the pieces that we need.
Warkite Marauder
: This one is here to deal with opposing flyers like
Lyra Dawnbringer
or
Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice
.
Kinjalli's Sunwing
: Deals with aggro decks and with riot playing out hasty threats every turn, great to slow the game down. Also, good against incoming enemy flyers.
Dovin, Grand Arbiter
: The man of the hour, can create multiple thopters and the life gain is a nice bonus. If he gets to ultimate, you are able to find any answers you need.
Sphinx of Foresight
: My favorite thing to do in this deck is scry 3 at the beginning of the game. Want more lands or spells, well you're fixed and ready to go! Also a big body in the late game and can help with card selection.
Sphinx of New Prahv
: Another great late game beater, more difficult to remove. Vigilance means that its great on both offense and defense.
Sideboard:
The sideboard plan turns the deck into a more tempo based deck, adding more counters such as
Negate
or
Lookout's Dispersal
. Some protection from sweepers with
Unbreakable Formation
, and a pair of
Lyra Dawnbringer
for the lifelink.
I hope you enjoy the deck! If you have any other suggestions please feel free to offer! Thank You!
