Thanks for the excellent description! The deck is rather pimping. However, I think your description of the deck as "a token" deck is kinda misleading - you only have 9 token producers in the whole deck. That's including Avenger and Kiki-jiki. Now, "small creatures" is a little more accurate, since you have a lot of good targets for Imperial Recruiter and Reveillark.

Sorry that's not a particularly helpful comment, but when I see "Rhys the Redeemed Final Form" I'm expecting some hardcore token makers which are mostly missing from this deck list.

Thanks hubatish! I also have two token producing lands in Kher Keep and Westvale Abbey  Flip which help a lot. I am definitely an out-of-the-box type of person, so it makes sense that it isn't exactly strictly a token deck. The deck title is just a joke about how the horns on Ormendahl, Profane Prince  Flip looks a little like a huge demon version of Rhys the Redeemed. Even though there are only 11 token producers currently in the deck (I am about to add Decree of Justice once it arrives in the mail) what this lacks in going all-in on tokens, it makes up for by being versatile and flexible.

Having played the deck a fair amount, I feel like tokens are accurate as far as the deck's strategy. It doesn't necessarily just want to attack with its tokens, but it is looking to make more creatures to abuse Earthcraft. However, the tricks you can do with the deck make for some fun games attacking with tokens.

For instance, in a game last week, I had assembled Chromatic Lantern with Earthcraft. My opponent cast Archive Trap on me, not realizing I want stuff in my graveyard. He milled Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker. I drew Body Double naturally, so I made a copy of Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker. I cast Gaddock Teeg to defend against Wrath of God effects. I was able to Green Sun's Zenith for Deranged Hermit and all of my squirrels could tap and make a mana of any color. So I copied the Hermit and then used the squirrels to pay for the echo cost of the Hermit. Finally, after assembling about 20 squirrels in this way, I started to send them in as attackers. I also had a Minamo, School at Water's Edge so after sending 7 squirrels at each opponent, they were preparing to take 14 damage, however, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker copies Hermit, making the squirrels 3/3, and then Minamo, School at Water's Edge untaps Kiki which makes another copy of Hermit, making them 4/4s.

That was really fun, but all of those utility pieces have synergy with each other. It's just unfair, but so fun to make this much mana with Earthcraft! Sorry if it is misleading!! I'll change the description to alleviate that. :)

This deck looks like a blast to play! Also nice description!

Have you considered Glen Elendra Archmage? She feels on theme as being a high value card and has high synergy due to her 2 power. Im thinking she could possibly replace Dovescape since she accomplishes the same goal of blocking cyclonic rift but doesn't stop you from playing your own non-creatures. In this way she gives you more options and flexibility.

Yeah, Daniel. That is a great call. I had tried to cut out any type of hard counter, even situational hard counters. But I might relax that a bit and maybe move to a couple. I have her in my maybe board in the Spell Slug version where I first make my changes. My playgroup had a rule of no counters, so that is why I use Venser. Cheaty McCheatface! Not technically a counter, haha.

Mycoloth perhaps?

I have found Mycoloth underwhelming unfortunately. And he recently got cut from my Malestrom Wanderer build. We just doesn't do anything until several turns down the line. I like things to impact the board right away. He is a very fun Timmy token card, but in practice, I find him hard to make useful.

perhaps Ashes of the fallen is good? you have a lot of non-elementals that would be good to revive with your comander

Arbor Elf (untaps duals) and Deathrite Shaman are both solid colored mana sources so you can get the colors you need.

Very nice deck, I can tell you put a lot of thought into it. It's flavorful and seems fun to play! +1!!!

You can't play WUBR because your commander is green.

Oh!!!!!! Nevermind. for some reason because yisan is in the featured cards and it is organized by drop, I messed up and thought yisan was general

oh yeah, that is what I figured once I replied it made total sense. I made Yisan featured as a play on Horde being the "song" of the universe... since Yisan sings songs and accrues verse counters. Also, the deck pkays with a theme of untapping with Minamo and Deserted Temple effects, which suits the wanderer bard. Appreciate the comments. Cheers!
