I needed a home for my set of Pyromancer's Ascension, so I started brewing. I could go to the easy route of Storm Combo, but that's already been done. What intrigued me was the Faerie flash/tempo building, but I couldn't afford those cards. In the end I decided to brew this deck.

Test play — Aug. 23, 2015

Round 1 - Took this deck on test run against a Jund player. Won 2-1. I really struggle with Tarmogoyf, he's too big too fast. Raging Ravine is another problem child. The window is very small to bolt him off. Also KoCo in the Jund deck was pretty good. There's a lot of promise in the future for that card.

Round 2 - Ended up playing against a Goblin Piledriver deck. Man it was fast. I didn't have my sideboard made yet, but pyroclasm & tremor now has a home in the sideboard. Score: 0-2
