+1 for a fresh take on Cat Tribal!

Brimaz, King of Oreskos is an awesome card you should considering adding to the deck.

My 2 cents is that an equipment strategy, which focuses on buffing up a few critters with "wearable tech", seems to pull you in a different direction against a cat-token strategy, which wants to go wide and swarm the board with adorable (ferocious) kitties. I could be way off here as am just theory crafting, so do share how the deck has worked out for you in your play testings.

Your deck caught my attention as I'm running a Selesnya token strategy deck helmed by Shalai, Voice of Plenty. Attaching the deck link here, hopefully you can draw some inspirations from it if you ever want to take the token strategy further.

Hey there Cloudius!

Thanks for the comment. Brimaz, King of Oreskos is definitely a must add! Although budget is the main reason keeping him from the deck.

Thanks for the tip, I'm not used to play commander, so I bought the Feline Ferocity C17 precon and just upgraded it a little, but those equipments don't actually fit the theme of going wide, especially the expensive ones that can't be cheated into play without rellying too heavily at the Nazahn, Revered Bladesmith+ Hammer of Nazahn combo. From the limited playtesting I got with this deck, the "Ok, what am I looking to do now?" question is quite confusing when looking at the way that it's currently built.

For what I've seen this far, selesnya tokens has quite a few tools and options. Whereas selesnya cat tokens is quite limited, but I'll keep looking for ways to make the deck work better without losing its identity.

Congrats on the awesome deck, I'll be taking a better look to find some budget options to add to mine!

Cheers.

Another great anti-board wipe card you may consider is Heroic Intervention.

While Phyrexian Rebirth is a great card, something like Martial Coup would fit better in your go wide strategy.

Another great way to help you go wide is Secure the Wastes.

Cryptolith Rite is awesome in this deck, why not double up on it with Song of Freyalise?

Hey bem77! Thanks for commenting and the great suggestions!

Heroic Intervention and Secure the Wastes would be awesome in this deck! They're just not included right now by budget reasons. I look forward to adding them as soon as possible, although I do feel that I'd need to add more non-cat anthem's like Intangible Virtue or Coat of Arms, what do you think?

I had completely forgotten about Martial Coup, it will be a fine replacement for Phyrexian Rebirth

As of Song of Freyalise, I feel like the saga mechanic would draw too much attention at the table, especially because it would take forever to hit "lore counter III". It would be a splash play that would lead directly to a board wipe as soon as it hits the table. Have you played with it before? I might try it!

I like Intangible Virtue over Coat of Arms. It draws less hate and the lower CMC is good. It lets you get incremental value over multiple turns and Vigilance is extremely underrated in Commander. It significantly opens up your attack options without having to worry as much about the crack back.

Song of Freyalise is great even if you just get one or two turns to ramp out with it and if someone wastes removal on it, it is not a key piece and you keep going. That being said, finding room for it is always hard to do.

Yeah I see your point, even though I like them both, I'm having a hard time deciding what to take out in favour of those. Also want to find a way to include Panharmonicon for more tokens, Prowling Serpopard as more protection and Throne of the God-Pharaoh for those situations where I can't attack directly or tap the creatures for mana. What are your thoughts?
