Sorcery (1)

a deck based around Unbound Flourishing. instants/sorceries/activated abilities get the bigger bonus since copying is better than doubling. it allows for choosing new targets, and also makes it harder to counter spell the whole effect. that said, some creatures are just too good to pass up.

the creatures can all provide value the same turn they come down, either through haste or an etb. Walking Ballista doesn't make the cut because it can only do something on its first turn by making itself smaller, and the double X in its cost basically halves its effectiveness.

Goldvein Hydra: even if it dies before it can attack, i'll just get a bunch of treasure tokens to ramp up my next spell.

Grim Tutor: mainly to tutor up Unbound Flourishing. the life loss however makes gaining life rather important, so its unlikely i'll cut the morlun or the consume spirit.

Consume Spirit: even in a 3 color deck, the right land base makes it easy to get a bunch of black mana. it's the only spell that can damage any target and also gain life. the lifegain is rather important to offset the lands and the Grim Tutor

Clan Defiance: there are several burn spells that only require 1 and X, but i'll gladly pay the 1 additional mana to be able to hit a creature and player simultaneously, especially if they have both flyers and non flyers.

Torment of Hailfire: this obliterates their hand and field if they don't want to just die.

maybeboard:

Worldsoul's Rage: an honorable mention due to it's ability to get back fetchlands to ramp up to bigger spells.
