Ok, the goal of this deck is to pump up hexproof creatures that cant be removed. The meta i play in for some reason or another has lots of targeted removal so I thought this would be a fun way to get around it.
The creatures are straight forward. Conifer Strider and Sagu Mauler are great. Dragonlord Ojutai gives me much needed card draw.
Brave the sands is great because it makes up for the fact that I will have less blockers then what is attacking my most likely, and I also dont get punished for swinging with my large creatures.Flying and trample are great against thopter and dragon decks which i see a fair amount as well.Cloudform is excellent because its my only way to get a hexproof creature out early and it also can act as psuedo card draw if i manifest a creature.Retreat is in here as it keeps me alive in my very weak early game then can transition to pumping my creatures later in the game, especially giving conifer strider much needed toughness.
I am worried about my early game so I placed in stasis snare and Suspension field. Might switch suspension field out for silk wraps but I havent decided yet.
Helm of the Gods brings this whole thing together for a huge cheap pump up.
I could definitely use some advice. I find I am running out of cards or not getting the cards I need over and over and need some card filtering. I thought that Monastery siege + Starfield of Nyx would be great for this but Im worried that they could just languish away all my enchantments once they are creatures. Any ideas or advice on this or other parts of the deck would be great.
Sigil of the empty throne also seems like it should be in here but if they are entering by NYx they arent being cast..
Anyways please let me know what you think. I could deffinately use some feedback.
Side note: got the idea from SaffronOlive's deck
