Sideboard


This is a classic feather deck, built around casting impact full combat tricks that come back to your hand with Feather, the Redeemed . Instead of Sheltering Light (in the main board ) I use Assure / Assemble . I use it because I dont use Run Amok , Battlefield Promotion or any other similar combat trick, and this one covers making the creature bigger and giving it indestructible. It also has the extra bonus of assemble sometimes making 2/2s if you draw the one copy of temple garden (you could probably get away with more special lands if you had a bigger budget).

Feather, the Redeemed , Dreadhorde Arcanist , Tenth District Legionnaire , and all the combat tricks including Integrity / Intervention , and Defiant Strike are all relatively common in the Feather deck but Rile is pretty rare. I use it because it creates card advantage and sometimes the trample can be relevant. If you have a strong reason why I shouldn't use Rile please let me know. A copy of Solar Blaze in the sideboard can destroy mid-range or aggro decks, especially when feather, and arcanist dont die. I still think Deafening Clarion is better so I use four of them as well. If I am against control then I switch the main-decked Reckless Rage s for the Prison Realm s or Sheltering Light s in the sideboard. I also have healing grace which instantly wins you game against mono-red.

Settle the Wreckage is a good card against several decks.
