This is a deck I found in a huge tote full of vintage trading cards (mtg, pokémon, yugioh, LOTR, star wars, a real treasure trove) I bought from a coworker a while back. I finally got around to digging through them all and was pleasantly surprised.

This B/U removal deck is the most intact and interesting as far as personal use goes. Mainly focuses on the Megrim + Warped Devotion combo with all the bounce spells. The only cards I've added are the dismal backwaters and a swamp because I often found myself without enough black mana.

It has proven to hold its own, but decks that can sling damage real quick tend to tear it apart. Mostly looking for suggestions to balance it and stay competitive in the modern landscape, while keeping its flavor. I'm on the fence about adding more creatures to it because I like what it has going for it, but all suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

TLDR: B/U removal/life drain deck needs a little refresh and balancing
