Well i can't give you amazing ideas because all of my crazy brews have been meh but my favorite was a deck that revolved around Tymaret, the Murder King Gravecrawler Quest for Pure Flame, and Burning Vengeance. It's fun when it goes off and I've baffled people with it just burn and kill lol.

Typically "fun" and "whacky" don't belong in the same sentence as "competitive". If what you mean is "I want a deck that is fun to play" then you might want to look into something like izzet storm combo, Jeskai Ascendancy combo, four colour gifts or maybe even jund dredgevine. They all have their weak points however all of them are ok decks and not your run of the mill ultra value decks.

i want somethign simi competitive not like omg this deck is amazing but something i can take to my local shop to play around with and not get crushed every time something as an example would be Chino90 has a deck call The Krampus is coming! and its super fun to play but also can win via.....well bullshit to be frank i love decks like that and i have a deck on here called we hitting the weight room that is a mono green +1/+1 counter deck and thank you for the suggestion with storm enpc thouse are always fun also what i meant by simi budget is that i can build it over time if need be i wouldn't like to go over 250 USD which in modern i know is sometimes close to impossible because of lands but just what yall can help me think of cause i have no ideas what so ever

oh and Tanker12 i love that combo i haven't even heard of it i know a sorta similar combo in EDH with Grimgrin, Corpse-Born and Gravecrawler with a spell that allows you to draw every time you cast a spell from your graveyard and Rooftop Storm just basically draw your deck and play the entire zombie army and swing for game next turn you also are gona make me turn my UB zombies to grixis now thanks XD

Thank you for mentioning me. I am flattered. Lately i have been building casual budget decks under $50. Another one i have just built for the same price and is kinda janky is called "do you want to build a ghoultree?($50 budget)" if you want to check it out.

There is also this guy in this website called "sagarys" that builds ultra budget themed decks for like $20, and they are Petty good imho.

One of them is called "ultra-budget: wrath of the witch king". You should check it out.

You should take a look at my deck; Esper Chimney Sweeper and see if maybe it's an archetype that might interest you to play. It's really fun to play with, and really frustrating to play against.

The ideal opening hand would have a Forbidden Orchard, Illness in the Ranks and one of either Blood Seeker, Suture Priest or Blood Artist. This makes it so that any time you tap your orchard for mana, your opponent loses life. Naturally, your opponent will want to try to bring out a big creature to start beating you in the face, and that's why you have a removal/win con in Mercy Killing.

The version I have posted is not really a budget version, but if you need to cut costs on it, you can replace AEther Vial and Dark Confidant with more budget options. The deck is primarily Esper because that allows you to add Phantasmal Image and Hunted Phantasm, which are both excellent cards in the deck. There are other options you could explore instead of blue (like, green instead), and you could try the deck with Collected Company or something along those lines, the Forbidden Orchard gives you a lot of mana fixing flexibility, so this is a deck that can be changed around easily. It's sort of along the lines of Soul Sisters, but it's way more powerful than that deck.

Overgrown Umbral Elf ($30 Turn 3 Infinite) is a goofy jank build that is pretty fun to play. I like that it seems to work best with fun cards that are cheap like Gigantiform or Gelatinous Genesis.
