What do you think is the best commander for superfriends? I have been trying to decide between Atraxa, Praetors' Voice, Ramos, Dragon Engine, Narset, Enlightened Master and Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder

Atraxa, Praetors' Voice is my most preferred colour choice. While Ramos, Dragon Engine definitely too is worth consideration being 5 colour and all.

Either of these I would go with, but I personally would still go with Atraxa as red doesnt bring as much to the table in edh I feel.

I am partial to Ramos, Dragon Engine. I feel the red is a necessary, if splashy inclusion for planeswalkers such as Ral Zarek, Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, and Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh. Conflux is also a great card to have to seek out nearly all your combo pieces at the very end.

It looks like you created two threads for the same content here; please only make one next time.

In any case, I agree with the above; Atraxa, Praetors' Voice is definitely the most synergistic with planeswalkers, though I feel that Ramos, Dragon Engine is probably better because he A) doesn't require any colors to cast him, B) actively helps you get the colors you need, and C) is just generally awesome.

Eh I think honestly Atraxa and Ramos are hella borrrring and vanilla. Narset, Enlightened Master is my preference but Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder is pretty fun too. Always nice to have something to do on your turn rather than loyalty counters, pass.

Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder lacks White and Narset, Enlightened Master lacks Black and Green, all of which are really important colors for superfriends, even if you think Red isn't. Tamiyo, Field Researcher, Ajani Steadfast, Ajani, Mentor of Heroes, Liliana Vess, Sorin Markov, etc. Not to mention mana fixing cards like Oath of Nissa and protective cards like Sphere of Safety.

Probably best not to get the two mixed up when making a counter argument. None of those listed planeswalkers are essential and narset doesn't have problems mana fixing 3 colors unless on a budget. Yidris lacking white kind of sucks (loses a lot of removal, Elspeth) but he plays more aggressively and definitely has a big pay off when he works. The worst thing about narset is no Doubling Season, but you still get Deepglow Skate and a lot of extra turns generally to offset this. Typically I see a superfriends deck win were off a Ugin, the Spirit Dragon or Tamiyo, the Moon Sage ult, both are available to each commander.
