Help with 5-color?

So my playgroup is pretty casual, they don't play with a banlist 'cause we usually can't afford the banned cards, so I decided to make a 5-color Protean Hulk combo deck. This is for the hulk aficionados, what do I put in? I know like 12 different combos with protean hulk, and I want to know what to do.

Since you aren't playing with a banned list, the old Recurring Nightmare + Survival of the Fittest combo comes to mind.

I could think of about a million combos (slight exaggeration but point shown) here using the hulk. Cant help unless I know the commander. Picking one or two will generally give you better help than general 5 color edh advice.

My commander is just going to be Child of Alara because it provides a good backup if hulk somehow doesn't work.
My combo is this:1. get Protean Hulk in play.
Have it die blocking some guy's creature.
Get the dies trigger and go find Karmic Guide and Viscera Seer.
Karmic Guide reanimates Protean Hulk, which then gets sacrificed to Viscera Seer.
using the trigger, go and get Body Double, which enters as a copy of Protean Hulk
Sac the Body Double, which goes and gets Reveillark.
Sac the Karmic Guide, then sac Reveillark, which gets back Karmic Guide and Body Double, which copies Protean Hulk, and the Karmic Guide reanimates Reveillark.
Now simply repeat the following:
8A. sac Karmic Guide, then Body Double, which goes and gets any creature in your deck.
8B. sacrifice the Reveillark, which brings back the other two, which brings back Reveillark
- Get all the disrupting creatures, then get Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Pestermite and swing for infinity squared.

if you want to make that combo better, id suggest looking at boonweaver giant and saffi eriksdotter combos. Theyre really strong and can end you up with all creatures going to board. have fun building. boonweaver is another start point to your combo btw with pattern of rebirth (see combos above. As for a secondary win con, might I suggest life drain (zulaport cutthroat)?

I may go with that, something I need help with is dealing with their ways to not let protean hulk resolve/ not let me get his death trigger.

ok for the resolve part, ways around it: cavern of souls/make it uncounterable, or cheat it into play. By cheating it you can either go the boonweaver route or any reanimation way (entomb and burried alive are like the best cards ever for this route)
For your next part, not let the death trigger: stack manipulation (while rip, path, swords, etc on the stack chord for the hulk or something and start the combo). It is really hard to stop death triggers from occurring. it is easier to just stop it from going to the graveyard. So with that in mind the next part addresses that.
Dealing with graveyard hate: either outspeed it, blow it up, remove or change it (song of the dryads, emprisoned in the moon)

It'd be much easier to help if you showed off some ideas you already have. What commander are you going to use? Will you focus in on one combo or do you want to be able to fall back onto other combos? Do all of your combos win the game or just some of them?
Tooth and Nail would be a good back up for Protean Hulk in case the hulk becomes unusable depending on your combos. Since you are 5 colors Conspiracy can be used naming elemental with Horde of Notions for a silly way to bring protean hulk back or with Scion of the Ur-Dragon so that hulk can be searched with your commander, Sliver Overlord or General Tazri can do the same. Ashnod's Altar would be a great way to get rid of the hulk. Cauldron of Souls and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed are retarded.
