Unblockable Plague II: Electric Blightaloo

Modern Aggro Budget GU (Simic) Infect

WhiteWeasel

Maybeboard

Artifact (4)

Creature (2)

This is my personal infect deck that revolves around blue/green pump to stack on the poison counters quickly. I have killed people on turn 3 or 4 if i'm lucky. Which is slow compared to the "good" versions of infect decks, but I don't have quite have the cash to splurge on Inkmoth Nexi. This decks main combos are: Blighted agent + Pumps spells for unavoidable damage, or a turn one Glistener Elf with a turn two pump(s).

Overall, my goal is to make this deck more consistent and reliable at getting a fast victory and crushing your enemies without crushing your wallet. Currently as it stands, this deck already wins most games with my friends. It should be noted that I'm cashed out for magic already on another deck, and won't likely be purchasing cards for the next couple of weeks, especially given that this deck already works at getting the job done. Cards on my maybe board are the ones I plan to pick up when I do start ordering cards again.

---Creatures--- Blighted Agent and Glistener Elf Should be obvious enough why these are my star pupils. Ichorclaw Myr It getting +2/+2 when becoming blocked is an effective way to dissuade my opponent from losing their creature so they let slide "just" a single poison counter. Plague Myr Is useful and can act as a mana dork to buy me more options. Thrummingbird Does not do infect on it's own, but it's proliferate make almost as good and it's the cheapest flying in my color scheme, allowing for more poison counters that can leak through enemy defenses.

---Instants--- Counters are there to make sure things go smoothly or to slow down the opponent. The pump spells are of dual purpose: they can both strengthen and/or protect my creatures. The stuff with proliferate to well, add more counters in addition to their other effects.

---Oddballs--- In those crazy turn 2 or 3 win infect decks, Rogue's Passage and Livewire Lash are normally too slow to come into play unless something has gone wrong. Since my deck isn't that fast (yet), I think of them as insurance for the mid game. Rouge's Passage is to make any of my other creatures into a poor man's blighted agent in case I cannot use the real one. In addtion, Livewire lash on an infect creature causes the triggered damage to be poison counters (since the creature and not the lash is the source of the damage), giving my pump spells bonus damage and forcing my opponent to bite the bullet with most removal they try to throw my way.
