The goal of this deck is to win through card advantage. It wants to cast a spell each turn until it can get the combo of Midnight Oil and Ghirapur Orrery. After that the deck wants to blow out its hand every turn. No cards in hand means we draw five cards when the combo is online.

The combo:Midnight Oil and Ghirapur Orrery. If we run out of counters we will draw five cards each turn. Three from Ghirapur Orrery, one from the draw step, and an additional draw step from Midnight Oil. And for every additional Midnight Oil we draw another card. That means if all four are on the battlefield we draw eight cards every turn.

Removal:The majority of these cards can be played regardless of the board state. Dark Salvation can remove creatures but doesn't need to target one to be cast. Sinister Concoction can be cast then destroy a creature later. Notably, Sinister Concoction needs a card to be discarded which is great for getting rid of one extra card once the engine is online, but will cost a minimum of 2 life. Grasp of Darkness still needs a target but is just too good to pass up. However if needed we can target our own creature.

The set up: Diabolic Tutor and Succumb to Temptation are there to make getting the combo more consistent. Note Succumb to Temptation's instant speed cannot be overlooked. It can save us life by playing it on the opponents turn we can avoid discarding to Midnight Oil.

The Win:Win condition number 1- flood the board with zombies from Dark Salvation and From Under the Floorboards. Note as long as we have 1 life discarding From Under the Floorboards for its madness will net us more life and keep us in the game.

Win condition number 2- Aetherflux Reservoir cast a ton of spells gain 51+ life then kill the opponent.

Win condition number 3- Liliana, the Last Hope need I say more?
