Burst.

  1. Get board presence with 3-5 creatures, then attack head on with by pumping with instants.

  2. Do some backdoor attacks with Fling and Essence Harvest, then repeat the process by getting creatures back.

  3. Punish enemies with Vexing Devil and Claim.

  4. Finish the game in a 2nd main phase win by catapulting a big Kiln Fiend to your enemy's face.

    • Can be used with Thud after attacking unblocked
    • Works well with 1st Main phase Unearth

  2. Kari Zev's Expertise allows free casts

    • uses enemy blockers against their owners
    • works well with Kiln Fiend and Swiftspear: more spells = more pumps

  3. Skewer the Critics acts as additional burn or removal

    • Board in together with Lightning Bolt against blockers
