As Goblin Rabblemaster was first spoiled, I was initially dissapointed. This guy didn't seem like he would fit into my older goblin decks. However, after playing him at prerelease, I realized just how awesome he is. And thus I set out to make a deck in preparation for the m15 release.

The idea to this deck is to drop Rabblemaster and keep him alive for a few rounds, to reach critical mass. We do this with protection, evasion, burn or removal, and then watch the goblin tokens stack up.

This was initially mono red, but I found that I had little to no protection for Goblin Rabblemaster, so by splashing white, we have access to Boros Charm, Gods Willing and Chained to the Rocks .

This deck is very fast and is in my opinion more versatile than mono red. It seeks to win in turn 4-6 and has several ways of doing so and dealing massive damage in few swings. You'll want to flood the board on the curve and get your battalion off, and then use your removal and tricks to swing for quite a lot.

I have now been playtesting this with a friend, and I ended up with some reasonably major changes. I ended up taking this deck less towards a goblin tribal, and more towards a sligh deck. This is partly influenced by Dezani in the Pro Tour, but it is still more or less original in the use of white. My first iteration was a bit overboard in the protection and removal, and would often cause dead cards. Now there are more aggressive creatures, and a healthier mana curve. The side board has also seen some changes, and should be reasonably adaptable to some situations.
