Mono-Green Destroyer Deck (Standard MTG Deck)

This deck is based off of my original M14 intro deck. The idea was rather than just buy a top tier deck someone else created, but to grow, improve, and design my own deck. I figured out I really enjoy mono-green so that is how the basis started. I have since grown it to be a pretty powerful deck.

There are still tons of upgrades I am planning for it and one day would love for it to be an FNM winner or even a Grand Prix contender.

Planned changes for M15 — June 30, 2014

As we all know M15 is coming up. So far I have planned a few changes to the deck, two of which are my favorite new M15 cards. I plan to take out the two Humbler of Mortals and add in one Nissa, Worldwaker and one more Nylea, God of the Hunt. I figure I always want to get Nylea out there and once she is out Humbler of Mortals really has no use if all the creatures have trample. Nissa speaks for herself on why I want her in the deck. Also I will eventually get a Terra Stomper and at least two Misscutter Hydras to replace three cards I have yet to decide on, maybe take out one or two Arbor Colossus as I don't seem to play him that much.

Further down the line when M14 rotates out I will replace Garruk with another Nissa because she is one I definitely want as often as possible but is a bit too expensive to get two of at the moment. Overall after M15 the deck will be in a good place and hopefully dominate in the tournaments.
