I played against cats at FNM last week and Prepare / Fight was money! Pump cats to win combat check, pump important ones to survive burn spells check, pump double strike dudes for massive swings check, occasionally aftermath from the graveyard to kill stuff... CHECK! Also, blossoming defense was great to save his big dudes from removal and win combat as well. Those two spells did a ton of work.

I would say as a super smash use Ajani Unyielding; while you protect your creatures with Blinding Fog and Haze of Pollen.

ShockTrooper06 good idea, I could remove the initiates companions and put in one Ajani and 3 Haze of Pollen.

I'm glad I could be of help.

This deck is really interesting to me, since I made a deck around Pride Sovereign so I loaded it with Dauntless Aven and Intiate's Companion as well as a huge amount of untap spells, (I also had Gideon Martial Paragon in but it didn't work). If you need any tips you pointers you could check out my polished deck. (This site helped me so much with polishing it up.)

My friend plays a Cat tribal deck.

He uses Oath of Ajani to put +1/+1 Counters on all his Creatures. That synergies well with Metallic Mimic.

Playing 4 of every Creature is rarely a good idea.

You need to switch things up by only playing 3 of some Cats:

3x Pride Sovereign
3x Regal Caracal
3x Sacred Cat

MAYBE 3x Prowling Serpopard. You'll have to test that one.

I don't like 22 lands for this deck. Even Aggro decks are running 24 Lands, and using utility Lands to help with a win in the late game.

For this deck I would suggest adding 2x or 3x Shefet Dunes. They can sacrifice themself to get their effect.

I would try going to at least 23 Lands. 24 if you feel that you can cut enough things.

Adding 3x or 4x Scattered Groves would also be a good idea. They help you not to get colour screwed, and offer Cycling in the late game.

You'll be surprised how useful it is to be able to get rid of a land that you drew, to look for something else.

Remove some basic lands for them.

I also think Gideon, Martial Paragon would be better in your Sideboard than Ajani Unyielding. Costs less and pumps all your Creatures.

Tag me in these Comments if you make some changes, and want me to take another look.

One more thing.

I like Appetite for the Unnatural better than Fragmentize, but that comes down to a meta call.

Argy, I put two oaths in and removed a sacred cat, a regal caracal and removed a prowling serpopard instead of the pride sovereign as play testing against my friends decks have found that serpopard wasn't as valuable as pride sovereign. I changed the number of lands to 23 and put in your suggestions but still don't know what to cut for 24 lands. The sideboard now has a Gideon instead of Ajani. On your suggestions regarding appetite for the unnatural. I prefer fragmentize as it's cheaper and I don't really need it to be at instant speed and the life gain is not needed in the deck making the 3 mana cost too high. I understand that fragmentize limits me to what I can destroy but I'm perfectly fine with it.

Heroic intervention is a must add. Lots of board wipes out there

mrlucky131313 Heroic Intervention is in the Sideboard.

Dexton220 23 Lands should be fine as your mana curve is quite low.

You are most welcome.

Glad I could help!

In case you haven't noticed, Scattered Groves also allows Sunpetal Grove to enter the field untapped, as it is both a Forest and a Plains.
