Updated version of my W/r humans to include cards from kaladesh in hopes of keeping the deck alive post rotation.
After testing the deck several times and receiving input from various sources I think I've managed to find the final iteration of the list. Toolcraft Exemplar and Inventor's Apprentice are two sets of 1 drop creatures that will be replacing the ones lost post rotation, unfortunately I lost a pivotal piece in Kytheon and Knight of the White Orchid. Thankfully the new 1 drops are pretty sweet and we have plenty of means of turning them on, Thraben inspectors clues, Stitcher's graft, Pia Nalaar and Smuggler's Copter. I've yet to have them turned on either when they drop or the turn after they drop.
The 2 drops are pretty sweet, Thalia's Lieutenant is one we get to keep thankfully as it is a fantastic card for humans and while it doesn't have synergy with Toolcraft Exemplar the Exemplar is still good on its own especially with an always watching/stitcher's graft on the field. Hanweir Militia Captain is another great 2 drop and it can get out of control really quick, once it flips and starts pumping out 1/1 humans it becomes a force, especially with a Lieutenant on the field. Smuggler's Copter is another non human addition, I have a feeling we'll be seeing this card in nearly every competitive deck in standard as it is incredibly versatile. A 3/3 flyer that loots is no joke and it can make a world of difference in a deck with such a low curve, have 3-4 lands on the field? Dump the rest to the copter and draw into gas to further your boardstate and go wide, can't say enough about this card.
The 3 drop slot currently consists of Pia Nalaar, on her own she doesn't look like much but she's also a truly versatile card. Her thopter buddy turns on our Exemplar and Apprentice and her other two abilities can be very powerful as well, need to push damage through? Sac a clue to her ability and prevent a creature from blocking, or pump your copter/thopter to push through those last few points of damage in the air.
Our non creature spells are mostly dedicated to pumping our creatures, Always watching needs no explanation, anthem effect that gives vigilance is superb in this deck. Key to the city as a 1 of was recommended to me and I really like it, another means of evasion and a way to draw into more fuel is very nice and it's possible I may up the count to 2 after more testing. Declaration in stone is just cheap removal that can be a blowout for your opponent.
The sideboard is something I'm still working on but the cards speak for themselves. Hope you guys like it, if you do +1 to let me know, or drop any suggestions or comments so I can check them out, thanks!
update 10/13/16: So I made quite a few changes to the deck, I had not received my smuggler's copters yet so I decided to take them out entirely and replace them with a higher count of fleetwheel cruisers as well as a single copy of skysovereign, consul flagship. I've also moved my single copy of gideon to the mainboard (will be two once I pick another up) and made some changes to the sideboard. I took the deck to an event last night and ended up 3-1, the only loss being to a terrible misplay and leaving two fleetwheel cruisers unanswered in game 3 of a mirror match. The deck is not nearly as fast as my original iteration however it is much more resiliant, the two times I drew into my skysovereign were both in the mid-late game and completely shifted the odds in my favor. Garrison + Lieutenant is crippling to the opponent if unanswered and Pia Nalaar proved to be far more helpful than I originally anticipated. I feel like there are still some changes to be made, I will test with the copters once I receive them and update from there. If you have any other suggestions or comments, please leave a comment and if you like it a +1 would be appreciate
Updated again 01/25/17 - Decided to move into Naya with the humans, Kari Zev to consistently trigger revolt is just awesome, Renegade rallier is just a broken card in my opinion. The ability to bring back your thalia's lieutenant for more counters, or if you happen to get more than one oath of ajani on the field you can string together oaths with your ralliers. If the deck curves out it's ridiculously explosive, the synergy between Thalia's Lieutenant and Hanweir Garrison are especially notable, your Lieutenant can get out of control if they stick on the board for more than a couple turns and even if your Lieutenant bites the dust you can get it right back with Rallier. I've been tweaking the mana base and I think I finally got it running smoothly, still need to mess with the sideboard but I'm getting close to having the deck where I want it. Also, Heron's grace champion can single handedly swing games if you have even a mediocre boardstate. Any suggestions are welcome. Hidden Herbalists is one card that I've considered but it doesn't play well with the mana costs of the other creatures in the deck so I didn't see too much of a point, enjoy and if you like it throw me a +1 thanks.
