It's been over 10 years since I've played Magic the Gathering and I have recently got back into it. Here is the first deck I've built.

This deck is a Mill Deck. Truthfully, I can't tell you how well it would do on the competitive level but against friends I can tell you it has a very fun to play! With this deck I've gone around 11 wins 5 losses.

The main strategy is to use Birds of Paradise and Harrow to get the early mana advantage then you control the game with a very defensive counter burn combo until you get to your Jace, Memory Adept. He does the heavy lifting by milling your opponent and getting all the cards he/she needs into the graveyard. Creatures are there to defend your Jace and when milling isn't an option a 7/8 Thing in the Ice   is hard to over come.
