Sideboard

It’s got a bit of everything, ramp, removal, big creatures, and of course; land destruction.

Got to mythic with this one, I’ve never left platinum before

Typical sideboard options:

Control: side in more threats, especially Phoenix, ceratops, and big chandra. Out; couple little chandra’s, Nissa, a vorinclex, a harmonize, the board wipes. (Note, the smashing success’s are HUGE in this matchup, get to turn 3 with a ramp in play. Beginning of their upkeep, instant speed remove their land. If they counter it, you have an opening for a threat next turn.)

Goblins/elves: side out more expensive stuff, bring in more sweepers

Phoenix: side in graveyard hate, usually trim like a Chandra, a harmonize, a clex, and like on or two smashing success. Usually end up bringing in the ceratops and thrag here as well. Just do some light trimming.

Heavy black removal decks: bring in the phoenix’s and typically the soul guides, trim a harmonize and a nissa and a smashing, etc.

Note, always mulligan until you have at least a playable piece of ramp. This deck does not work on normal curve.
