Destroy your opponent's creatures and then play creatures like Pack Rat to do the final damage. Gray Merchant of Asphodel is a good way to deal some extra damage and regain life you've lost to withstand your opponent's creatures and burn spells. Use Temple of Deceit and Temple of Malice to play the cards exiled with Nightveil Specter (you can use whatever lands you feel and use any colour depending on the decks you'll be facing)

This deck can also be upgraded but at a much higher cost with cards such as:

• Phyrexian Obliterator can replace any of the creatures in your deck and greatly increases your devotion
• Thoughtseize is a great replacement for duress and the life you lose with it can easily be replaced with Gray Merchant of Asphodel
• Mutavault helps pump Pack Rat as it has all creature types and is an overall great addition
