Some cuts and some additions —Dec. 28, 2017
I took the deck to a 1-2 finish at a Modern tourney tonight, (2-0 Grixis Death's Shadow, 0-2 Goblins/Burn, 1-2 Green Tron), and I must say that the deck felt somewhat durdly. So, I've removed some dead sideboard slots, moved a Life from the Loam, Darkblast, Collective Brutality and Haunted Dead to the side, and cut a single Insolent Neonate. I've replaced a Blood Crypt with a Sacred Foundry, and put in 4 Burning Inquiry and a single Rally the Peasants, as I found that the explosive hands always won.

I agree on the Conflagrate, I had contemplated throwing in a Haunted Dead before, so I think I'll pull the trigger on that now. Thanks for the help.

I like the Collective Brutality. It seems like a solid addition, especially since the discard is almost always reciprocated with value in this deck. If I were you, I'd cut a Conflagrate or a Faithless Looting and put in a singleton Haunted Dead. Its discard clause serves the same purpose as Brutality, being discarding dead cards or things you need in the yard, and it provides another way to get your Prized Amalgams onto the field.
