Why?: This is my favorite deck to play with. Discard is not very popular currently, and I love playing with something no one else uses.

Win conditions: Painful Quandary with Liliana's Caress is really the big combo. I can use Diabolic Tutor to get Liliana Vess, and use her second ability to get Painful Quandary. With Liliana's Caress out as well, it's all over.

Discard: Duress is a staple of all discard decks, as is Liliana's Specter. I currently don't own any Inquisition of Kozileks, but will add them if I get them. I think Psychic Miasma is a highly underrated card. In a focused discard deck, it forces players to discard cards they need rather than land they don't need anymore, unless they want to get hit twice with Liliana's Caress. Note: I don't have any Guul Draz Specter s, though I wish I did.

Control: I have a decent split between counters (Mana Leak, Negate) and creature control (Disperse, Doom Blade).
